Take-Home Pay Calculator Philippines
Your take-home pay is your gross monthly salary minus four deductions: your employee shares of SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG contributions, and the BIR withholding tax computed on what remains. This calculator applies the exact 2026 schedules for all four — the same tables used by payroll — and itemizes every line.

How It Is Calculated
- SSS: 5% of your Monthly Salary Credit (MSC ₱5,000–₱35,000), per the official schedule — max ₱1,750.
- PhilHealth: half of the 5% premium on basic salary (floor ₱10,000 / ceiling ₱100,000) — you pay 2.5%, max ₱2,500.
- Pag-IBIG: 2% of fund salary capped at ₱10,000 — max ₱200.
- Withholding tax: BIR's monthly table (TRAIN law, 2023-onwards schedule) applied to gross salary minus the three contributions above.

Example Computations
Example 1 — ₱20,000 gross: SSS ₱1,000 + PhilHealth ₱500 + Pag-IBIG ₱200 = ₱1,700. Taxable ₱18,300 → tax ₱0. Take-home: ₱18,300.
Example 2 — ₱30,000 gross: contributions ₱2,450; taxable ₱27,550 → tax ₱1,007.55. Take-home: ₱26,542.45.
Example 3 — ₱60,000 gross: SSS ₱1,750 (capped) + PhilHealth ₱1,500 + Pag-IBIG ₱200 = ₱3,450. Taxable ₱56,550 → tax ₱1,875 + 20% × ₱23,217 = ₱6,518.40. Take-home: ₱50,031.60.
Who This Applies To
Private-sector employees paid monthly, with mandatory contributions deducted through payroll. It assumes the standard graduated withholding table — not the 8% flat option for self-employed taxpayers, government GSIS deductions, de minimis benefits, or company-specific deductions (loans, HMO top-ups, tardiness). Your payslip may differ where those apply; treat this result as the statutory baseline.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I compute my take-home pay in the Philippines?
Start with your monthly gross salary, deduct your employee shares of SSS (5% of your Monthly Salary Credit), PhilHealth (2.5% of basic salary, floor ₱10,000 / ceiling ₱100,000) and Pag-IBIG (2% of fund salary, max ₱200), then apply the BIR withholding tax table to the remainder. What is left is your take-home (net) pay.
How much is the take-home pay for a ₱30,000 salary in 2026?
At ₱30,000 gross monthly: SSS ₱1,500 + PhilHealth ₱750 + Pag-IBIG ₱200 = ₱2,450 in contributions. Taxable income is ₱27,550, giving ₱1,007.55 withholding tax. Estimated take-home pay: ₱26,542.45.
What monthly salary is tax-free in the Philippines?
Under the TRAIN law, annual taxable income of ₱250,000 or less is exempt — that is monthly taxable income up to ₱20,833. Because mandatory contributions are deducted first, a gross salary of roughly ₱23,000–₱23,500 per month can still result in zero withholding tax.
Are SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG deducted before or after tax?
Before. Your mandatory contributions (employee shares only) are excluded from taxable compensation, so the withholding tax is computed on gross salary minus those contributions.
Is the 13th month pay included in this computation?
No — this calculator estimates your regular monthly net pay. The 13th month pay is a separate annual benefit, tax-exempt up to ₱90,000 combined with other benefits. Use the 13th Month Pay Calculator for that.
