Pag-IBIG Contribution Calculator 2026
As of 2026, the Pag-IBIG (HDMF) contribution is 2% of your monthly fund salary from you and 2% from your employer, computed on a fund salary capped at ₱10,000 — so the mandatory maximum is ₱200 + ₱200 = ₱400 per month. Employees earning ₱1,500 or below contribute 1% instead (employer still 2%). This has been the schedule since HDMF Circular No. 460 took effect in February 2024.
Pag-IBIG Contribution Calculator
Contributions are computed on a Monthly Fund Salary capped at ₱10,000 (HDMF Circular 460).
Pag-IBIG Contribution Table 2026
| Monthly Compensation | Employee Rate | Employer Rate | Example — Employee | Example — Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ₱1,500 and below | 1% | 2% | ₱1,500 → ₱15 | ₱45 |
| Over ₱1,500 to ₱10,000 | 2% | 2% | ₱8,000 → ₱160 | ₱320 |
| ₱10,000 and above (capped) | 2% of ₱10,000 | 2% of ₱10,000 | ₱200 (maximum) | ₱400 (maximum) |
How It Is Calculated
- Take your monthly compensation, capped at the ₱10,000 Maximum Fund Salary.
- Employee share: 2% of that amount (1% if your compensation is ₱1,500 or below).
- Employer share: 2% of the same amount — employers may not pass this cost to you.
Example Computations
Example 1 — ₱6,000 salary: fund salary ₱6,000 → employee ₱120 + employer ₱120 = ₱240 total.
Example 2 — ₱25,000 salary: fund salary capped at ₱10,000 → employee ₱200 + employer ₱200 = ₱400 total.
Example 3 — kasambahay earning ₱1,400: employee rate is 1% → ₱14; employer adds 2% → ₱28. (Household employers shoulder the full savings of kasambahays earning below ₱5,000.)
Who This Applies To
Pag-IBIG membership is mandatory for private and government employees, kasambahays, self-employed workers and OFWs. Your mandatory savings earn annual dividends and unlock eligibility for Pag-IBIG housing, multi-purpose and calamity loans. Voluntary top-ups and the MP2 savings program are optional extras on top of the amounts computed here.
How to Pay
Employees are auto-deducted through payroll. Self-employed members and OFWs can pay through Virtual Pag-IBIG and accredited collecting partners. Always transact only through official Pag-IBIG channels — AyTool is independent and cannot access your Pag-IBIG records.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is the Pag-IBIG contribution in 2026?
In 2026, employees contribute 2% of their monthly fund salary (1% if earning ₱1,500 or below) and employers add another 2%. The fund salary is capped at ₱10,000, so the maximum mandatory contribution is ₱200 from the employee plus ₱200 from the employer — ₱400 total per month.
How do I compute my Pag-IBIG contribution?
Take your monthly compensation up to the ₱10,000 ceiling, then multiply by 2% (or 1% if you earn ₱1,500 or below). Example: ₱8,000 salary → ₱160 employee share + ₱160 employer share. Any salary of ₱10,000 or more → ₱200 + ₱200.
Why is my Pag-IBIG deduction ₱200 even though I earn more than ₱10,000?
Because contributions are computed on a Maximum Fund Salary of ₱10,000 (HDMF Circular No. 460, effective February 2024). Whatever your actual salary, the mandatory employee share tops out at 2% × ₱10,000 = ₱200. You can voluntarily save more through upgraded savings or MP2.
Can I contribute more than the mandatory amount?
Yes. You may increase your monthly savings voluntarily, and the MP2 program accepts additional savings of at least ₱500 per remittance with its own dividend rate. The employer is only required to match up to the mandatory 2% of the ₱10,000 fund salary.
Do self-employed and OFW members pay Pag-IBIG?
Yes — Pag-IBIG membership is mandatory for virtually all Filipino workers, including self-employed earners and OFWs. Self-employed members shoulder the contribution themselves (commonly both the 2% member and 2% employer counterpart, i.e. up to ₱400). Payments go through Virtual Pag-IBIG and accredited partners.
